Green Wool Houppeland
I made this houppeland for Atlantian 12th Night in 2005. It was patterned after Norland’s G63 and made of green wool. While all the major seams were sewn by machine they were all butterflied and stitched down by hand to strengthen the garment and give a period finish the to seams. There is no visible machine stitching. It is completely hand finished and closed with pewter buttons.
